<h1><span style="font-size: large;">大家都知道壓力會造成腸胃病。不過，美國加州理工學院研究就發現﹕腸胃道的細菌可能是兒童自閉症的病灶，或許是治療的突破點。研究發現，自閉症兒童和一般兒童的腸胃道菌種有很大的分別。美國疾病管制署指出，自閉症兒童中長期腹瀉或便秘的比率，是正常兒童的3.5倍。</span></h1>
<h1><span style="font-size: large;">研究人員改造了小鼠來進行實驗，令小鼠出現自閉症類的症狀如焦慮、冷漠等。研究發現，這種小鼠體内的4苯酚硫酸鹽(4EPS)比普通鼠類含量高出46倍，是影響行爲的重要生物分子。4EPS由腸胃細菌製造，相信是從小鼠的腸道而來的。另外，如果把4EPS注射到健康小鼠的體內，牠們就會變得更為焦慮。研究員在小鼠食物裡摻入脆弱類桿菌（治療小鼠腸胃病的益生菌），結果發現他們焦慮有所降低。</span></h1>

				<div class="et_pb_toggle_content clearfix"><h1><span style="color: #000000; font-size: large;">微生物在人體裏無處不在。大部分的微生物都分佈在口腔到肛門的消化道。在多種生理因素的影響下，腸道微生物群於腸胃道分佈的區域會有所不同。這些因素包括pH值、消化道的流速（在口腔迅速到盲腸變慢）、基質可用性 （substrate availability）和宿主分泌物。胃中的低pH值、快速的轉運時間以及小腸中膽汁酸的分泌導致這些區域的菌群密度降低。反之，大腸的特徵是流速緩慢，以及其適合菌群生活的pH值（中性到輕度酸性），令其可容納總菌群中99％的微生物，而且盲腸至直腸的菌群成分變化極小。</span></h1>
<h1><span style="color: #000000; font-size: large;">主要腸道微生物群在早期已經形成（4到36個月），腸道微生物群的成熟狀態是根據腸型、出生胎齡、分娩類型、餵奶方法、斷奶期、生活方式、飲食和文化習慣發展而來的。三歲後，腸道微生物群的結構和成分會相對保持穩定。在早期已經形成的腸道微生物群的豐度和多樣性會幫助身體組成健康的腸道菌群，擁有更豐富和更多樣化微生物群的個體更能承受外部壓力和病理攻擊。另外，腸道微生物群在消化、營養穩態、免疫、內分泌、代謝和神經心理功能方面仍起著重要的結構和生理作用<span class="text_exposed_show">。</span></span></h1>

<p><span style="font-size: large;">微生物組 (microbiome) 是指微生物群的基因組，而微生物群 (microbiota) 是指佔據人體特定棲息地的所有微生物，當中包括細菌 (bacteria)、病毒(virus)、真菌 (fungi)和古細菌 (archae)。細菌在人類微生物組中的數量比其他微生物多出超過一千倍。因此，我們有時只使用細菌來描述人體中的微生物群。不同的身體部位，例如嘴、食道和生殖器官，各具有不同的微生物群。我們將會集中説明腸道微生物群。</span></p>
